Recently, the 2023 annual performance reports (previews) of listed aluminum companies have been released one after another. According to public information, as of March 27, six listed aluminum companies have disclosed their 2023 annual performance reports (previews), with a total operating income of approximately 206.628 billion yuan and a total net profit of approximately 29.351 billion yuan.
From the perspective of net profit, China Hongqiao ranked first with a net profit of 11.461 billion yuan in 2023, followed by Chalco with a net profit of 6.3 to 7.3 billion yuan, and Shenhuo Co., Ltd. ranked third with a net profit of 5.905 billion yuan. According to existing statistical data, the net profits of four listed aluminum companies, Chinalco, China Hongqiao, Xinjiang Zhonghe and Jiaozuo Wanfang, increased year-on-year, with a maximum increase of 64.97% to 114.46%; two companies, Shenhuo Co., Ltd. and Nanshan Aluminum Co., Ltd. The net profits of listed aluminum companies fell year-on-year, with a maximum drop of 22.07%.
From the perspective of operating income, except for Chinalco and Jiaozuo Wanfang, which did not announce their revenue in their performance forecasts, a total of three of the other four aluminum companies had operating income of more than 10 billion. Among them, China Hongqiao ranked first with operating income of 133.624 billion yuan, Shenhuo Co., Ltd. ranked second with operating income of 37.625 billion yuan, and Nanshan Aluminum ranked third with operating income of 28.844 billion yuan. Except for China Hongqiao's operating income, which achieved year-on-year growth, the other three aluminum companies' operating income all experienced year-on-year declines, with the highest decline of 17.47%.
